TORONTO, Ontario (August 21st, 2023) – The Toyota Camry delivers it all – from innovative technology, driving fun, comfort, and style, to incredible choice, with four distinct powertrains including self-charging hybrid electric. Best of all, every Camry some standard-equipped with Toyota’s global reputation for quality, safety, and value.

“Nothing delivers the winning combination of driving fun and comfort for everyone like a well-designed sedan, and as the last full-line automaker, Toyota remains committed to serving Canadian drivers who value that perfect blend,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “Toyota offers Canadians four hybrid models that make it easier for everyone to reduce their carbon footprint and fuel costs, plus six Camrys built around three gasoline powertrains. That’s 10 choices, all ready to welcome drivers to a better life behind the wheel.”

The choice starts with body style. Canadians who favour sophisticated design will appreciate the sleek, refined styling of the exclusively hybrid LE and XLE grades. Those who lean into more aggressive design will appreciate the SE and XSE – available with a choice of gas or hybrid powertrains, and sporting features such as mesh grilles, side vent inserts, integrated spoilers, and athletic alloy wheels.

Inside, Camry’s cabin is designed to hold up to five passengers in comfort. Drivers will appreciate the natural arrangement of instrumentation and controls, making it easy to focus on the road ahead. Touchscreen audio systems are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible to provide the perfect soundtrack for the daily commute or weekend road trip. Meantime, Connected Services by Toyota – included as standard on almost every model – is a bundle of smart connectivity technologies that keep drivers informed and safe while simplifying their lives behind the wheel.

Every Camry and Camry Hybrid also comes with an impressive package of safety features – headlined by Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, a suite of active safety technologies and capabilities that supports driver awareness and decision making to help reduce the potential for accidents. Other standard safety features include the Toyota Star Safety System, a backup camera, 10 airbags, and an anti-theft alarm system.

Toyota Canada offers the 2024 Camry series with a choice of four powertrains.

The 2024 Toyota Camry lineup starts with two models built around a 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine, eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, and front wheel drive. The 2024 Toyota Camry SE features a display audio system with 7” touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and six speakers. Other features include sporty 17” alloy wheels, sportier body styling for the front and rear, automatic air conditioning, sport fabric seats with leatherette trim, heated front seats, a power adjustable driver’s seat, 4.2” multi-information display, heated and leather wrapped steering wheel, and keyless entry with trunk release.
