TORONTO, ON – February 1, 2023 – Toyota and Lexus were recognized with 12 J.D. Power 2023 Canada ALG Residual Value Awards today, with Toyota taking home the Overall Mainstream Brand Award for the fourth consecutive year, and Lexus receiving the Overall Luxury Brand Award for the third consecutive year.

The J.D. Power Canada ALG Residual Value Awards recognize vehicles from the 2023 model year that are forecast to retain the highest percentage of their manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) over the next four years for mainstream vehicles and three years for luxury vehicles.

In addition to receiving the Overall Mass Market Brand Award for the 4th consecutive year, Toyota also won seven segment awards:

  • Large Pickup Truck – Light Duty:
Toyota Tundra   (5th consecutive year)
  • Off-Road Utility:
Toyota 4Runner   (4th consecutive year)
  • Midsize SUV 3-Row seating:
Toyota Highlander   (4th consecutive year)
  • Midsize Car:
Toyota Camry   (2nd consecutive year)
  • Midsize Van:
Toyota Sienna   (2nd consecutive year)
  • Small SUV:
Toyota Corolla Cross
  • Midsize SUV 2-Row Seating:
Toyota Venza

In addition to receiving the Overall Luxury Brand Award for the 3rd consecutive year, Lexus also won three segment awards:

  • Small Premium SUV:
Lexus UX   (4th consecutive year)
  • Compact Premium Car:
Lexus IS   (3rd consecutive year)
  • Large Premium SUV:
Lexus LX
